Brothers Perry and Kenneth Dickey began working at King Manufacturing in Corinth, MS in the 1980’s where they first learned about and began to pursue careers in different metal finishing techniques. In 1987 Perry decided to quit Kings and begin his own venture into the industry. He would start Dickey Metal Finishing shortly after where Kenneth would eventually join him. The brothers would grow the company in the following years from one small building to the now over 80,000 square foot facility we have today. In the early 2000’s Kenneth would retire from the company and Perry would become the full-time owner. Perry would continue the success into the following years up until his two sons Josh and Jordan graduated college and began to follow in his footsteps. Today the second generation of Dickeys look to progress the company further into the future with sustained success. Dickey Metal Finishing has built a brand based on hard work and fast turnaround with uncompromised quality. Their family ties and dedication to their customers is what separates them in the industry.
Into the Future
Two brothers started Dickey Metal Finishing and today two brothers continue to operate and carry on Dickey Metal Finishing’s values. Josh and Jordan Dickey were both raised in the plating industry and bring a wealth of knowledge even at a young age that most in the industry do not possess. Both brothers take pride in being involved in all day to day operations and they make sure that Dickey Metal Finishing provides all its customers with quality parts on time. Josh and Jordan both graduated from the Mcnairy Central High School in Selmer and the University of Memphis with a BBA.
